St Peter's Lutheran Church is dedicated to the teaching of God's Word. We believe that all of God's Word is true, and the writers of the Bible were inspired by the Holy Spirit to bring the message of God's love for this rebelious planet to all.

Our continuing mission is to teach clearly the truths of God's Word in order to bring all people to understand that through the work of Jesus Christ, God has forgiven the whole world of its rebellion against him.  Those who trust Jesus for that forgiveness will be found in him and saved on Judgment Day.  Our purpose is to gather regularly in joyful worship of God, to be students of his Word, and to be witnesses to our community to the truth of God’s salvation through Jesus.

One of the main instructions given to the leaders of the church was to be able to teach. Leaders are also commanded to equip the saints so that they can also carry out the work of the minsitry, and this exactly what our skilled pastors and teachers desire to do.

Coming to our services and Bibles studies should be a time of worship and fellowship, but also of growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Sermons are understandable but yet stimulating to the mind with respect to accurate doctrine and application. Bible studies delve deep into the precious truths of God's Word so that we can apply them to our lives as we are going to others with this message.

Jesus commisions all of us in Matthew 28 to go into all the world, making disciples of all people. At St Peter's, together with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS), aim to take that seriously by using whatever means we have to promote worldwide missions and our own at home.
In addition to using our own time, talents, treasures to serve those in our community and those that surround us, we currently help support missionaries all over the world, and periodically invite some of our missionaries to tell us about their mission work.

The reason we grow, and the reason we go is because we know and have experienced the love of our Savior who came to live and give his life to show his love for us. Love for others is a hallmark trait of Christians. At St Peter's we teach from God's Word how to love and then are motivated by Christ's love for us to actually give his love in our words, actions, and offerings to support this awesome and important privielege of giving Jesus.
